A company claims itself as a travel agent provides trips to outer space and they have been promoted. Whereas, this new tourist activity is plan to start in 2020.
The company called the Golden Spike, based in Coloradohas commenced its promotional journey to visit the moon.
Promotional activities are still limited to the distribution of flyers and advertising in some of websites, but they started with a press conference held on Thursday, 6 December 2012.
“Golden Spike Company invites you to attend a press conference on human commercial trip to the moon in the future. Executives from the company will explain the mission and the business further.” That was written in the invitation to the Golden Spike as reported from HuffingtonPost, Thursday (06/12/2012).
According to NASA Spaceflight website, the fastest a commercial human journey to the moon will be implemented in 2020.
This site also reveals there is no official report of the company’s Golden Spike serving the traveling to moon as the most eagerly waited.
Golden Spike is a company owned by Alan Stem, a former NASA senior official.
